MJHEP is a successor business of the Yen loan fund program HELP 1-3 (Higher Education Loan Fund Project), and is a study abroad program to Japan managed by the budget of the Malaysian government.<\/p>\n<p>In the MJHEP, students who are ranked at the upper 5% of the SPM (unified examination in Malaysia) who wishes to study in Japan are chosen. They receive 3 years of education in Malaysia, where 1 year is spent for Japanese language, and 2 years for undergraduate education of science and engineering.
